Don Harshbarger
1922-23

Currently, there is almost no known information about  Mr. Harshbarger as yearbooks and other media sources from the early-to-mid 1920's are currently not available; however, it is fact that Harshbarger called Mt. Pleasant his hometown and he was a graduate of the Iowa State Teachers College.  Under his direction, although the 1922 squad went 0-6-2, Mr. Harshburger coached one of the first All-State players in tackle Lester Jones who was named to the Honorable Mention squad of the Des Moines Register.  In 1923 Coach Harshbarger led the Lynx to a 3-3-1 record.
