• To date, Webster City is only 1 of 14 teams in Iowa prep history to go both
unbeaten and unscored upon in a season
• The Lynx, along with Perry and Logan, were the only three teams in the state of Iowa to go
undefeated in 1936
• Webster City shut-out 10-straight opponents dating from the last two games of
the 1935 season through all of 1936
• McCammeron received a broken leg in the Eagle Grove Game but still finished
with 4 touchdowns
• Due to injuries, Belmond cancelled its game against Webster City which
was replaced by Algona
