• Webster City extended their winning streak on Riverside Field to 15 games
• Carroll Johnson, offensive guard, was named a 2nd Team of the Wigman Wiseman All-American squad... only the second player in school history to receive such an honor
• Despite losing to Humboldt, 7-0, the Lynx had 17 first downs vs. Humboldt's 2; completed 12 passes compared to the Wildcat's 2; also, in the state ratings following the game, Webster City was ranked in the Top 10 whereas Humboldt was ranked in the Lower 10
• The Lynx were ranked #21 in the final All-School poll by the Cedar Rapids Gazette
• In the Coaches Poll, Webster City was ranked #13 in state and 4th in Central District while Humboldt was ranked 3rd in District and #8 in the State
