• Trainer Reggie Speak, one of the very first certified high school trainers in the state of Iowa, left Webster City after the 1968 season to become the new trainer at Bettendorf High School
• Lynx racked up 112 rushes for 2,100 yards and a total of 2,427 yards of offense
• Dennis Bever's 326 carries the most in Iowa and believed to be a Lynx record
• Dennis Bever carried the ball 50 times in two games against Clear Lake and Marshalltown
