Poll of the regular season, the Lynx were ranked #9
• The Lynx ground attacked collected 2,573 yards and passed for 672
yards for a total of 3,245 yards
• Running back Keagan Parks was named as the "Iowa Network
Services 3A Player of the Week" after rushing for 142-yards and 2 touchdowns
against Boone which included scoring runs of 81 and 21 yards
• From 2008-2009, the IAHSAA implemented a Substate
round; beginning with the 2010 season, the title "Substate" was dropped and the
playoffs now consisted of a 5-game tournament: 1st Round, 2nd Round,
Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and State Championship.
• For the 1st Round playoff
game which state-wide consisted of 96 games, Webster City vs. Waverly-Shell Rock
was not only the only game which featured two ranked teams, but also two 8-1
