It would be an understatement to say that
the Webster City High School Football program is rich in both tradition and
accomplishments—and that is what this Souvenir Media Guide is all about:
honoring and remembering all that is Lynx Football.
Since 1896, Webster City’s football team has
compiled an amazing record of 522-287-33 which includes 31 total
North Central Conference and District 2 titles along with 11 Class 3A
playoff appearances.

from every season record with game-by-game scores to a complete list of every
All-State player ever to don the Purple and Gold. Featuring a picture of
the 2008 Seniors, this booklet is a keepsake for past, present, and future
generations!
The
Souvenir Media Guide also includes a biographical write-up on every Lynx Head
Football including greats Robert Lamson, Harley Rollinger, and Dick Tighe.
As well, both team and individual statistical information such as the highest
scoring team to the all-time leading rusher and touchdown leader is included.
Among numerous other football-related items, the 32-game winning streak that
occurred from 1952-62 is also detailed.
100 seasons of Lynx Football history in 28 pages. On sale at all home game
this fall and all proceeds go to Lynx Football.
